KATHMANDU: The Cosmic Education Nepal, an abroad study consultancy, launched its services officially on Sunday, said a statement. Toran Bahadur Karki, former vice-chancellor of the Purwanchal University, inaugurated the programme. The statement said the consultancy provides services on abroad study counselling, test preparation and foreign languages. — HNS

NGO awarded

KATHMANDU: Tamakoshi Sewa Samiti, an NGO based in Manthali village of Ramechhap, received the ‘Reflections of Hope Award’ from the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum, USA, according to a statement issued here on Sunday. It includes a purse of $ 25,000. — HNS

BHAKTAPUR: A talent expression competition on sex and reproductive health organised by the Nepal Family Planning Service for target group of adolescents concluded on Saturday. Jayalaxmi Shrestha, Shushila Joshi and Swechhaya Mishra stood first, second and third respectively. — HNS
