Youth camp organised

KATHMANDU: A three-day camp on “Youth wish peace and creativity” organised by the Hindu Vidhyapith Nepal (HVN) concluded in the capital on Sunday. Participated by 75 students, the camp was organised with a view to developing the personality of young people. The camp has succeeded in imparting knowledge on the importance of patriotism and the sense of true devotion, a press release issued by the HVN said. The participants were also informed about the vedic relegion and natural therapies for physical, mental and intellectual development, the release stated. — HNS

Niesen Award

KATHMANDU: Ayush M Sherchan, vice-president of the Godavari Alumni Association (GAA), and Pankaj Rayamajhi, general secretary of the GAA, were given away the prestigious Niesen Award at the annual general meeting of the GAA on Saturday. — HNS
