Crown Prince’s visit

KATHMANDU: Minister for Foreign Affairs Ramesh Nath Pandey is to accompany Crown Prince Paras who is leaving for Japan on July 4. The visit will last for two weeks and the Crown Prince is also scheduled to visit South Korea. — HNS

One killed in accident

KATHMANDU: Man Kumari Rijal was killed when a motorcycle hit her at Sinamangal, Kathmandu on Friday afternoon. Police said Rijal died while undergoing treatment at Kathmandu Medical College, Sinamangal. Police has taken Nabin Bahadur Shahi, driver of the motorcycle in custody. — HNS

Fire in showroom

KATHMANDU: Hitachi Company at the Ramshahpath caught fire on Friday evening. According to police, valuable goods including computers, refrigerators, television sets, vacuum cleaners were damaged. Only the ground floor of the three-storied building was damaged in the fire.—HNS
