KATHMANDU: A man, who was rescued injured from a field, died in the course of treatment on Friday, police said.

Badri Prasad Jamakattel (49) of Sankarapur Municipaliy-7 was found injured on his field by a police team and rushed to the Sankhu-based People Life Care Hospital.

He, however, succumbed to the injuries during treatment, according to police.

Further investigation is underway.
