Int’l Hindu Conference to begin in Kathmandu on Oct 20
KATHMANDU: The World Hindu Federation International is organising the International Hindu Extensive Conference at Bankali in Kathmandu from October 20 to 22.
Different working papers on the significance of the Vedic religious studies and the special characteristics of the Hindu religion would be presented and discussed in the conference.
Around 1,000 people from different countries have been invited to the grand assembly.
The WHF Secretary Ashmita Bhandari said the general conference would be attended by scholars, ascetics and pundits. It is expected to endorse a proposal calling for restoring Nepal as a Hindu nation.
The conference would also elect a new working committee of the Federation.
