KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Monday appointed Jhabindra Prasad Aryal as the Nepali Ambassador to Egypt.

The President made the decision in accordance to Article 282(1) of the Constitution, according to a statement issued by the President's Office today.

Aryal was one of the eight joint-secretaries at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who was recommended for the diplomatic appointments in April.
