Joint Project Monitoring Committee meet held
Kathmandu, January 30
The first meeting of Joint Project Monitoring Committee involving high-level government officials of Nepal and India concluded at National Police Academy in Maharajgunj yesterday.
According to Nepal Police, the meeting was held as part of an understanding reached between Nepal and India in the past on the construction of a building and other infrastructures on the premises of NPA under the grant assistance of the southern neighbour.
A press statement issued by Nepal Police Spokesperson DIGP Kamal Singh Bam said NPA executive director AIGP Surendra Bahadur Shah had shared updates on the progress made by the organisation till date since a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the two countries during the JPMC meeting. During the meeting, the Indian side pledged to abide by the agreement reached earlier on the implementation of the project.
