KATHMANDU: Jewelries worth Rs 185,000 and Rs 15,000 in cash was stolen from Sankhamul, Baneshwor on Tuesday. Thieves had barged into the rented room of Swarswati Acharya and decamped with cash and gold jewelries by breaking the locked cupboard. Likewise, Rs 80,000 in cash and gold jewelries worth Rs 200,000 was stolen from the rented room of Ram Shrestha in Jhaukhel, Changunarayan-6, Bhaktapur. Police said investigation into the incident is under way.
