Karnali Air case to be probed

Kathmandu, March 16:
The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation has formed an investigation committee to probe Karnali Air’s MI-17 helicopter’s emergency landing in Kalyan village of Surkhet district.
The six-member committee led by Yagya Prasad Gautam, the joint secretary at the Tourism Ministry is all set to probe the incident. Karnali Air’s helicopter on a flight to Mugu from Nepalgunj made an emergency landing at Surkhet following a technical hitch on February 19.
