Kathmandu, April 14 :

A group of four unidentified persons yesterday evening kidnapped one Rajaram Pathak of Nuwakot from Nagarjun, Kathmandu, robbed him, beat him up and left him in the Nagarjun jungle, police said today.

This morning, a child informed police in Balaju that a dead body has been found inside the jungle. However, when a police team reached the spot, it found a severely injured man fighting for his life.

“The police team rushed him to Bir Hospital where his condition is stable,” a police official at the Balaju police station said.

Police said Pathak was kidnapped by a group of four persons from near Osho Tapoban at Nagarjun when he was returning home on a bus. “Pathak has sustained injuries on his hand and head,” the police said.
