KATHMANDU: A couple have been injured in a fire that broke out in their kitchen in Suryabinayak-11 of Bhaktapur district on Friday.

Surendra Mahat (37) and his wife Sushmita (33) underwent primary treatment at the Nagarik Hospital in Gaththaghar, said police.

Later, the Hospital referred the case to the Kirtipur Model Hospital.

They are well enough to speak, according to police.

The fire was controlled by locals and police.
