KATHMANDU: A delegation of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) officials today left for Guangzhou, China.

The seven-member team of local body experts is headed by KMC Executive Officer, Rudra Singh Tamang.

The KMC was extended an invitation for a visit by the Guangzhou city.

The delegation will hold talks on development and cooperation in commerce and other trade areas for bilateral interests. It will also study the urban planning and development as well as disaster management practices in the Chinese cities.

The delegation will also tour the Chengdu city of Sichuan province before returning home.
