KATHMANDU: Central member of Chinese Communist Party and Deputy Minister of Foreign Department Lio Jay held talks with Nepali Congress president Girija Prasad Koirala at the latter's residence at Maharajgunj on Sunday.

The duo's talks mainly dealt with bilateral relationships.

Jay also expressed his concerns over the peace process in Nepal and the promulgation of the constitution in the meet.

Koirala requested the Chinese Communist party for assistance in the country's peace process.
