The first annual general meeting of the Krishnamohan-Nudup Memorial Academy concluded here today at its office at Kalanki.Former chief election commissioner Surya Prasad Shrestha was the chief guest, and Inspector General of the Armed Police Force Dilip Kumar Shrestha, was also present at the function.

Chief guest Shrestha gave away the certificates to the founding members of the academy during the programme.Treasurer Nirmal Pradhan presented the annual financial report while secretary Dakshya Prasad Shrestha presented the annual report on the activities of the academy.

An 11-member working committee under the chairmanship of Krishna Gopal Shrestha was also set up, with Madan Mohan Shrestha as first vice president, Govinda Das Shrestha — second vice-president, Dakshya Prasad Shrestha — secretary, Nirmala Pradhan — treasurer, Biswomohan Shrestha — joint secretary. The members include Jesh Mohan Shrestha, Sharad Adhikary, Rudra Nath Sharma, Namita Shrestha and Phatte Bahadur Limbu.
