Kumarighar open for public to pay homage to living goddess

KATHMANDU: Devotees can pay homage to the living Goddess Kumari at the Kumarighar from today till coming Monday.

The Kumarighar, the residence of living Goddess Kumari, has been opened to public on the occasion of Bada Dashain.

Devotees can pay homage to the Goddess Kumari from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm until the day of Kojagrata Purnima, the concluding day of the Bada Dashain festival, Gautam Ratna Shakya, an aide to the Goddess Kumari, said.

The Goddess Kumari will be taken to the temple of Taleju Bhawani on the Maha Nawami, the ninth day of Dashain, which befalls on Thursday.
