KATHMANDU: CPN-UML leader and former Minister for General Administration, Lalbabu Pandit, underwent a successful cataract surgery on his left eye at the Tilganga Eye Hospital today.

A team led by Dr Sanduk Ruit carried out the surgery on leader Pandit.

Pandit would ndergo the same surgery on the right eye next week, said Pandit's personal secretary, Osim Alam.
