Lalitpur annual budget in 3 weeks
KATHMANDU: The municipal meeting of the Lalitpur Sub-Metropolitan City to approve the annual budget and programmes for the current fiscal year is likely to take place within three weeks.
“We have completed all preparations for this fiscal’s budget and programmes,” said Binod Prakash Singh, executive chief of the LSMC. “The meeting was scheduled to be held by mid-July.
However, it was delayed due to lack of consensus among the political parties,” he added. According to the LSMC, it has estimated a budget of Rs 380 million for the fiscal year.
“About Rs 130 million have been allocated for administrative expenses and nearly Rs 250 million for the development of the sub-metropolis,” said Singh.
