KATHMANDU: Property worth Rs 200,000 was gutted in a fire in Thaiba of Lalitpur district on Sunday.

A photo studio run by Udaya Man Shrestha in Thaiba, Godavari Municipality-12 had caught fire yesterday.

Police said an electric short circuit had sparked the fire.

Police assisted by locals had doused the fire.

Further investigation is underway.
