Lalitpur fire guts valuables worth Rs 1 million
KATHMANDU: A fire triggered by an electric short circuit destroyed property worth around Rs one million in Kumaripati of Lalitpur on Monday.
Police said the Laxmi Furniture in Ikaphe, Kumaripati of Lalitpur district had caught the fire.
The furniture shop was owned by Rajan Maharjan.
Police said an inverter battery had sparked the fire.
