KATHMANDU: A youth from Lamjung district was beaten and robbed by unidentified persons in New Bus Park area in Kathmandu on Tuesday.

Police said Man Bahadur Manjakoti (36) of Tulungkot VDC-8 of Lamjung district, currently staying at Lamjung Guesthouse in the area, was the victim of robbery.

The motorcycle-borne robbers took away a mobile set and Rs 8,000 in cash from Manjakoti, said police.

Police said the injured victim is receiving treatment at Bir Hospital.

Likewise,  the law enforcement personnel are investigating into the case and the manhunt is on.
