Leader Paudel wants to expand Nepal-Japan relations

KATHMANDU:  Nepali Congress senior leader Ram Chandra Paudel today stressed the need of expanding Nepal-Japan relations for trade and investment in Nepal.

Addressing a programme organised by the Nepal Chamber of Commerce, on the occasion of 60th establishment of Nepal-Japan diplomatic relations, Paudel urged the Japanese government to provide support in agricultural technology for the advancement of agricultural sector in Nepal.

"Nepal and Japan should take joint initiatives for the establishment of sustainable peace in the world. Both the countries should collaborate with each other by making their relations friendlier for the same," he underscored.

He also emphasised taking the country towards the path of sustainable peace and economic development along with Constitution implementation.

On the occasion, Industry Minister Nabindra Raj Joshi said that the government should create conducive environment to create employments in the country by resuming the closed industries.

Likewise, Japanese Ambassador to Nepal, Masashi Ogawa, said Japan had wanted to further strengthen Nepal-Japan relations.
