Laxmi Bilash Koirala, Director General of DoI, in a press interaction, said no foreign and local reporters would have access to the inaugural ceremony of the day-long conference due to space constraints.
Reporters, however, will have access to a media centre to be set up at Soaltee Hotel, where regular updates of the ongoing programme along with live television coverage will be shown as well wifi, internet, computer etc. facilities will be available for Nepali and foreign journalists, he added. DoI has started accepting online application forms for media accreditation from foreign journalists. Director General Koirala said at least seven foreign journalists— five from Japan and one each from Spain and USA— have applied so far.
