Claiming that land plotting and accumulation of soil in their area has led to blockage of the sewers, 250 people of the Gyankhel area have urged that the authorities make the land developers stop the plotting. They fear that sewer could cause an epidemic. Stating that plotting initiated by Surrendra Mahato and Ram Ashish Sahu Sudi of Siraha has blocked sewer, they have accused the two of making them leave the place. Shiva R KC, a local, said: “Thanks to noise made by dozers, houses have cracked.” “Sewer has reached home,” another local, Khageswor Dhakal, said. Sahu and Sudi were not available for comment.
