KATHMANDU: New Annapurna Gas Tempo Entrepreneurs’ Welfare Association today decided to abandon the membership of the National Federation of Nepal Transportation Entrepreneurs.
The decision was taken as the latter supported the government decision to remove cooking gas-operated tempos from the Kathmandu Valley, said a press statement.
Similarly, the organisation also received membership of the Supreme Federation of Nepal National Transportation Entrepreneurs (SFNNTE) — which has been agitating against the government’s decision — today.
“We will continue to support the movement launched by the SFNNTE until our demands are fulfilled,” it added.
In the continuation of the protests, the tempo entrepreneurs are scheduled to gherao the Department of Transport Management office at Koteshwor at 10 am tomorrow.
