Malaysian university awards scholarship to Nepali students

KATHMANDU: Two underprivileged Nepali students have been awarded academic scholarship by officials from Saito University College, Malaysia amidst an event organised at JP High School at Chhetrapati, Kathmandu on Sunday.

Roshan Karki of grade 10 from Charikot and Prakash Rokaya of grade 4 from Mugu were awarded the scholarship.

The scholarship will provide to cover education fees the two children for one year.

Coordinator of the program, Mr Umesh Adhikari, Director of Study Plus Pvt. Ltd. informed that Saito plans to support the education of 5 underprivileged students next year.

The principal of the school Mr Laxman Paudel applauded the support from Saito and hopes for continued support in the days to come.
