KATHMANDU: A person died on Tuesday after falling down and sustaining an injury in Pasikot, Budhanilakantha Municipality of Kathmandu on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Suman Thakuri (45).

Thakuri fell down outside his rented room and sustained an injury on his chin. He, however, was not taken to any hospital on the day.

Thakuri was taken to the Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital the next day after he did not wake up in the morning.

He was announced dead by the hospital upon arrival.
