Man with mental illness fatally attacks his father
KATHMANDU: A 42-year-old man fatally hit his 70-year-old father on head with a wooden plank in Purano Naikap area, on the outskirts of Kathmandu, on Monday.
According to police, Kajilal Maharjan died on the spot when his son Kayaram Maharjan attacked him.
Kayaram is said to be suffering from mental illness. He has been detained, police said.
