Man found dead after missing for 21 days

NUWAKOT: A man has been found dead 21 days after he had gone missing.

Shyam Tamang (33), a resident of Shivapuri Rural Municipality-5 in Mahakali, had gone missing since December 5.

He was found dead on Sunday afternoon, Superintendent of Police (SP) Basanta Kunwarat the District Police Office said.

His body was found in a decayed condition near a stream inside the jungle of Shivapuri National Park.

Preliminary investigation shows that he may have died after falling off a cliff, however further investigation is underway, police said.
