KATHMANDU:  A man was arrested in possession of a bullet and other contraband from Baneshwor of Kathmandu on Sunday.

The arrestee has been identified as Suman Sah (23) of Janakpur-8, Dhanusha, currently living in a rented room in Battisputali.

He was arrested with a bullet, some pharmaceutical drugs and a panchaule (Dactylorhiza hatagirea), a species of medicinal herb generally found in the Himalayas.

A police team deployed by Baneshwor-based Metropolitan Police Circle had arrested him around 9 pm.

Further investigation is underway.
