KATHMANDU: A 46-year-old man was arrested on Saturday on charge of attempting to rape a woman at a Maharajganj-based guesthouse in Kathmandu.

A permanent resident of Dasharath Chand Municipality-9 of Baitadi district, Some Mahara (46) is accused of the rape attempt on the woman at Koseli Guesthouse in Maharajganj, KMC-3.

The victim had filed a complaint at the Maharajganj-based Metropolitan Police Circle against Mahara.

Then, police nabbed him from Narayantar of Jorpati today.

Further investigation is underway.
