KATHMANDU: A person has been arrested in possession of different weapons from Lokhanthali of Bhaktapur district on Wednesday.

Sachindra Palung (35) of Panchami-3, Panchthar, currently living in Manahara squatter settlement of the district was held with two pistols, a khukuri, a knife, a white substance, combat dresses, some wires and a flag.

Palung had been living in a hut of his brother for the past three years.

A Special Police Bureau in cooperation with the Metropolitan Police Circle had deployed a police team to raid his residence and had found him in possession of the weapons.
