KATHMANDU: Police said a team deployed from the Narcotics Control Bureau, Koteshwar, arrested a man in possession of a cache of controlled drugs from Swayambhu of KMC on Sunday.

Police identified the suspect as Prabhu Tamang (35), permanent resident of Khanikhola-3, Dhading, currently residing in Dallu of KMC-15.

Tamang had hidden the drugs in his scooter's dicky. Police said 99 ampoules of buprenorphine, 99 ampoules of diazepam, 99 ampoules of phenergan, nine tablets Nitravet and 26 capsules of Tramadol were seized.
