KATHMANDU: Police said a man was killed on the spot after the motorbike he was riding on skidded off the road at Bhattedanda in Lalitpur district on Thursday.

Police identified the deceased as 35-year-old Bhim Bahadur Singar of Malcha-1 in the district.

Singar had lost control over the two-wheeler (Ba 47 Pa 6916) and plunged some 400 metres off the road, said police.

Meanwhile, police said they are looking into the case.
