KATHMANDU: The CPN Maoist Centre (MC) has submitted the name list of 35 Provincial Assembly candidates under Proportional Representation to Election Commission on Friday.

The central committee meeting of the party held today has elected mostly female candidates, 30 out of selected 35, under Proportional Representation in line with a provision of the Constitution which ensures 33 percent female representation in the law making body.

Out of the total 35 candidates, five each have been selected to represent Province 1 and Province 2, eight to represent Province 3, three from Province 4, six from Province 5, and four each from Province 6 and 7.
