Maoist UJSC meet adjourns

KATHMANDU: The meeting of UCPN-Maoist's agitation front United Janaandolan Struggle Committee (UJSC) has been adjourned due to its chairman's poor health condition on Monday.

According to Netra Bikram Chand 'Biplov', general secretary of the UJSC the meeting has been cancelled due to the poor health of its chairman Dr Baburam Bhattarai. The Maoists have been agitating after its party chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal tendered his resignation over the Nepal Army chief row on May 4, 2009 for civilian supremacy and correction of the President's move in the case. The House business has been disrupted due to the Maoist protest and they have already announced a new stir after November 1.
