The Maoist terrorists posing themselves as workers of the Limbuwan Liberation Front have brutally killed Sri Prasad Gautam, a CPN-UML party worker of Linglim VDC in Taplejung district on April 25 while he was sleeping at his own home.

The terrorists had slashed his neck several times with a kukri and later gunned him down after they took him a little away saying they have to talk to him.

The CPN-UML has expressed shock over the barbaric murder paying hearty tribute to Gautam and extended condolences to the bereaved family.

The party called on all to take initiative to resolve the present problems drawing attention of all, stating that terrorists, professional criminals and those wishing destruction and disintegration of the nation have been making an alliance under the signboard of Maoists.
