KATHMANDU: Chief Election Commissioner Ayodhee Prasad Yadav has pointed out the need for making Radio Nepal stronger and competitive by strengthening of its managerial, technological and administrative mechanism.

Inaugurating a two-day long training on local polls and mass media in the Radio Nepal premises on Sunday, CEC Yadav said that the Radio Nepal was making effective programmes to bring about the election wave.

He praised the state-owned radio station for its coverage on election.

Yadav further focused on disseminating factual news rather than reporting secondhand information.
