KATHMANDU: Police said a microbus driver has been arrested on charge of his alleged involvement in assaulting a passenger at Kumaripati in Lalitpur Sub-Metropolitan City on Friday.

Police said Krishna Chaudhary, a BBA student of local Republic Advance College, was beaten by the unnamed driver of microbus (Ba 2 Kha 829) over a dispute regarding the passenger's fare.

Meanwhile, Chaudhary sustained minor injuries and is undergoing treatment at Sumeru Hospital in Pulchok, added police.

Police said they are investigating into the case.
