KATHMANDU: A woman died after being hit by a minibus in Lagankhel of Lalitpur on Monday.

Nanimaiya Khadgi (55) from Purnachandi of Lalitpur was hit by the vehicle (Ba 2 Kha 2034) this morning.

She had succumbed to injuries she sustained in the accident, during treatment at the Patan Hospital, according to police.

Police impounded the vehicle and arrested its driver for further investigation.
