Minister Pokharel leaves for China

KATHMANDU: In response to an invitation from the Government of China Shankar Pokharel, Minister for Information and Communications, left on a week long China visit on Monday. During his stay in China, Pokharel will be participating in the ministerial level workshops which are scheduled to be attended by delegates of around 40 developing countries from Asia, mid-Asia, Europe, Latin America, Southern states and Africa and will be held from October 13 to 20. He will also visit the China Radio International (CRI) and China Central Television (CCTV). Minister Pokharel will be addressing the inauguration ceremony of the workshop on Tuesday.
