KATHMANDU: Minister for Science and Technology Shiva lal Thapa said that the government was planning to provide the science and technology training to the ministers, leaders and members of the Parliament (MP).

While inaugurating the sixth Science and Technology Exhibition in the Capital today, Minister Thapa said that such training was essential to the ministers, leaders and MPs even to make them familiar with new technologies.

He added that the development without science and technology was incomplete therefore students should be linked with such technologies since their school days.

Minister Thapa complained that the Ministry of Science did not have enough budgets in comparison to other Ministries.

The exhibition will run for two days. The exhibition was organised by the South Western College.
