KATHMANDU: Property worth around Rs 600,000 was gutted in a fire that started in a shop at Mitrapark, KMC-7 on Wednesday.

The shop, Aastha Solar Shop, is owned by Dinesh Karki of Saraswotinagar.

The fire was controlled by police in coordination with the locals.

Police said they are investigating into the case.
