Monsoon set to gain pace after brief break

KATHMANDU: Rainfall activity is likely to increase in the eastern and central regions, including the Kathmandu Valley, from tonight after a gap of four days, which were virtually dry. According to a weather outlook published by the Meteorological Forecasting Division, monsoon activities will gradually spread towards the western region, bringing good rainfall. “The regime of rain-producing system will spread across the country by tonight for a day or two. There is probability of moderate rainfall in some places,” it said.
