KATHMANDU: Nabil Bank Limited on Thursday provided Rs 20.1 million to the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund to support the April 25 earthquake victims.
Shambhu Prasad Paudel, Chairman of the bank handed over a check bearing the amount, amidst a programme ogranised at the Prime Minister Sushil Koirala’s official residence in Baluwatar today.
After receiving the cheque, PM Koirala said that he had been working rigorously for the promulgation of a new constitution, establishment of peace and development of the country.
During the programme, Poudel expressed his belief that the country would head towards the path of development after the promulgation of a new constitution under the leadership of Koirala.
Member of the Board of Directors Nirban Kumar Chaudhary and Chief Executive Officer Anil Kumar Khanal among other staff of the bank and Nepali Congress central member and Constituent Assembly member Dr Shashank Koirala were present on the occasion.
