Nagarshovini released on aircraft

KATHMANDU: ‘Nagarshovini’ — the eighth literary work of journalist and litterateur Shankar Kharel —was released while on board the Yeti Airlines today. CA member Moti Dugar and executive of Lions Club International Nanda Kishor Rathi jointly released the 250-page novel amid a function organised on board the Yeti Airlines plane flying at an altitude of 13,500 meters. Complementary copies of the novel were distributed to all passengers after the Kathmandu-bound plane took off from Biratnagar.

CA member Dugar said, “I’ll take initiative to sell the novel to all 601 CA members.”

Novelist Kharel informed that his latest novel revolves around a dream visualised by the only survivor of a family that underwent an ordeal of the decade-long insurgency and the land erosion caused by the Koshi river. The novel was published by Purvanchal Arts and Literary Group.
