Subedi picked as chief registrar of SC

Kathmandu, June 25

The Judicial Service Commission today recommended promoting joint-registrar Nahakul Subedi to the post of chief registrar of the Supreme Court.

Subedi will assume the office of chief registrar of the Supreme Court once the Council of Ministers endorses the JSC recommendation.

The post of chief registrar of the Supreme Court remained vacant after Shree Kant Paudel, who held the post, was appointed as a High Court judge in January.

Subedi said the Judicial Service Commission also stated in its recommendation that the post of chief registrar of the Supreme Court would be equivalent to the post of cabinet secretary.
