Kathmandu, September 27 Nepali Congress Vice-president Ramchandra Paudel, party lawmakers Anand Prasad Dhungana and Mahesh Acharya today held informal talks with Chairman and Vice-chairman of Tarai Madhes Democratic Party Mahantha Thakur and Hridayesh Tripathi. Tripathi said they told NC negotiators that the government and the ruling parties must bring their roadmap in order to hold formal talks. Tripathi said the NC negotiators also told them that there were differences of opinion within and among the big three parties about some of their issues. Tripathi said that he had the impression that the ruling parties were not serious about holding formal talks to address the concerns of the agitating Tharu and Madhesi forces. Paudel told THT that the TMDP leaders asked them to withdraw the from Terai districts, ensure that normalcy returns and amend the constitution for resolving the current political problems.
