KATHMANDU: Secretariat meeting of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) is underway.

The meeting is taking place at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar, Kathmandu.

Main agenda of the meeting is to discuss the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC). It has been learnt that some of the party secretariat members are having issues with MCC — which has not yet been ratified by the parliament — “being hinted” in the budget for Fiscal Year 2020-21.

Finance Minister Yubaraj Khatiwada had presented the budget for the upcoming fiscal on May 28 in a joint meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) and National Assembly (NA).
