NCP (NCP) Co-chairs hold meeting

KATHMANDU: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Co-chairpersons Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal today have held discussions on issues relating to the merger between the sister wings of the then CPN-UML and CPN Maoist Centre.

The meeting held at the PM's official residence in Baluwatar, Kathmandu also discussed contemporary issues.

According to Dahal's secretariat, the chairs duo discussed on the progress achieved so far on the merger process of the sister wings, provincial, district and other local committees of the then parties.

Both the NCP (NCP) chairs agreed on calling the party secretariat meeting on September 12 to finalise the unification bid.

The meeting also held review on chair Dahal's recent visit to India.
