NDFEEF meets up with PM Deuba
KATHMANDU: A delegation of Nepal Democratic Foreign Employment Entrepreneurs Forum on Wednesday met up with Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and urged him to take initiatives to resolve problems surfaced in foreign employment sector.
The delegation drew the attention of the Prime Minister to different issues including financial exploitation in the name of different agencies of those going to Malaysia for overseas employment and problems seen in Qatar, said Forum Advisor Pragyan Neupane.
On the occasion, Prime Minister Deuba said he was well informed of existing problems in the foreign employment sector and would arrange a broad discussion about this among the ministry and bodies concerned after the second round of local level elections.
PM Deuba said the government would play its role to make foreign employment safe, systematic and dignified, said the Forum's advisor Neupane.
The PM also suggested the delegation move ahead joining hands for the 25th general assembly of the Nepal Association for Foreign Employment Agencies scheduled to be held on July 14.
